Founded 2025 · United Kingdom

We put the back office on the floor.

Waveko started with a simple, stubborn belief: the most expensive decisions on a show get made where there's no signal — and the software should be there too.

Our story

Born at a load-in dock with no bars.

The idea for Waveko showed up in the worst possible place to do budget maths: a concrete basement, mid load-in, two hours from the call, with a spreadsheet that wouldn't open because the venue had no signal. By the time the team got back online, a category was already £30K over and nobody had seen it move.

We founded Waveko in 2025 to fix exactly that. Not another cloud dashboard you check from a desk, but a floor-grade instrument that does the full job offline — estimates, actuals, change orders and variance — and syncs the moment a connection returns.

Today the free production tools are live and self-serve, and the full platform onboards production companies one show at a time, with onboarding done by hand.

What we believe

Principles we build by.

  • 01

The floor is the source of truth

Numbers are most honest where the work happens. Software that only works at a desk is software that finds out too late.

  • 02

Offline is the default, not the exception

Connection is a luxury on most sites. Every feature is designed to work first without it, then sync.

  • 03

    One job, done properly

Each tool earns its place. We'd rather do estimates, actuals and variance exceptionally than do forty things adequately.

  • 04

Built by people who've sweated it

We've chased runaway categories and written wraps at 2am. The product respects how a show actually runs.

The team

A small crew with a long list of shows.

Production people and software people in the same room — close enough to argue about a road-case spec and a database schema in the same breath.

Liam Knight

Founder & CEO

Spent fifteen years on production budgets before deciding the tooling had to change. Liam sets product direction and still reads every onboarding note by hand.

Sophie Carter

Chief Technology Officer

Leads the local-first engine and the sync layer that lets Waveko keep working in a basement. Obsessed with conflict-free data and fast cold starts.

Marcus Bell

Head of Product

Turns floor chaos into clear screens. Marcus owns the workflow from estimate to wrap and the calculators behind the free tools.

Grace Foster

Head of Customer Success

Runs hands-on onboarding for every production company that joins. Grace makes sure a new team is logging actuals on the floor within their first show.

Daniel Ward

Lead Field Engineer

Tests Waveko where it counts — at the dock, in the rain, with no signal. Daniel keeps the tools honest against real power, weight and load-in maths.
